Our team of lawyers and paralegals intentionally formed Coal Harbour Law to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

Individually, our team members have opened Michelin-starred restaurants, been recognized by their peers with Best Lawyers and Kings’ Counsel designations, opened for the Rolling Stones, served as Directors and senior executives of successful tech companies, taught at some of Canada’s top law schools, immigrated to Canada without a single connection or resource and managed to build fulfilling careers, and achieved countless other feats you wouldn’t expect from a lawyer.

Collectively, our team has poured all of their expertise, time, and commitment into helping our clients build successful businesses, buy their first home, negotiate their first record deal, immigrate to Canada, maximize the impact of their charitable giving, and more.

We have built a firm which is capable of doing more for our clients than any of us could do individually, allowing our firm to achieve exceptional results for our clients, often in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Legal needs tend to be serious. We feel that many lawyers and other professionals react to the importance of their client’s issues by taking themselves, but not their client’s needs, seriously. We think this is exactly backwards. We always remember that our clients are real people with real problems, feelings, concerns, aspirations, and needs, and that we are here to help them.

We also know that no one wants to deal with a lawyer (or any service provider) who has the same personality as the paper they write on. So, our team does everything we possibly can to help you achieve your objective and we do it while being real people ourselves - no pretenses, no stuffy offices, no non-sense, just unfailing commitment to our clients.
